After Historic Downtown Grapevine, which was a charm attraction, we headed to a lake called ‘Grapevine Lake’ within a several-minute drive. As opposed to my prejudice that Dallas is a dry land, we met an unexpected surprise.
Admission was $5 per car and cheaper for pedestrians or bicyclers. Parking was easy and the park was well maintained.
It would have been perfect if we brought something to eat and read. Some were barbecuing, some others were fishing, walking with or without a dog and bicycling. Speaking of bicycling, this mildly rocky trail must be more enjoyable for the bicyclers than a concrete one.
